It has probably happened to many of us: someone turns on the radio, hears an unfamiliar piece of music \u2013 perhaps the announcement has already ended, perhaps there is not enough time to listen to the end \u2013 and is immediately captivated, without ever finding out what it was.<\/p>\n
It also often happens that a tip for listening is passed on, or that you leaf through the programme booklet of a concert and \u2013 even before a single note is played \u2013 form an idea of what you will like and what you will not.<\/p>\n
With Korpus V \u2013 Darkroom, Schallfeld ends the 2025 season with an experiment: a concert without a disclosed programme. Solo works and chamber music, new and older pieces \u2013 or rather, new music for those who don\u2019t know it yet (or don\u2019t recognise it).<\/p>\n
A concert without a programme that invites us to explore whether we hear differently when we don\u2019t know what we\u2019re listening to.<\/p>\n
