My teaching activity is closely connected to my work as a contemporary percussionist and ensemble musician, shaped by years of experience as solo and ensemble musician with Schallfeld Ensemble and PHACE.
I regularly give workshops, masterclasses and guest lectures for percussionists and composers, focusing on contemporary performance practice, sound research, and performer–composer collaboration.

Sessions for Composers
Over the years, I have worked closely with composers, offering percussion coaching for composers focused on sound design, techniques and performer–composer collaboration.
Collaboration within performance projects is a central part of my artistic work. In addition, I now offer dedicated sessions for focused exploration and experimentation, providing a clear framework for creative exchange.
These sessions, available online or in person in Graz or Vienna, are designed to support composers in areas such as:
- Exploring new sounds and techniques
- Writing effectively for percussion
- Instrument choice, setup and preparation
- Practical solutions for complex ideas
- Performer feedback during the compositional process
