PHACE + Liquid Loft — coal mine birds (Premiere)

Whether as part of a dance evening or in an intimate setting: this ensemble has found an out-of-the-ordinary serial format that involves the audience in its artistic productions. The successful launch last December of Soirée dansante at Liquid Loft’s Salon Gudrun in Laxenburgerstraße is now being continued at ImPulsTanz in Odeon. Together with PHACE, the Viennese ensemble for New Music, the group presents a stage-on-stage arrangement that involves visitors to a great extent. In the installational reenactment of a defamiliarised ball, they become participants in the grand adventure of a virtual transgression, in which bodies and objects merge into strange hybrids under the eloquent title coal mine birds.
